A full body sling is a fabric sling used with a patient lift to support most or all of a person’s body during transfers, such as bed-to-chair or toileting moves.
It is usually used for people who cannot bear much or any weight, or who need extra support for the head, trunk, and legs. Some versions include a commode opening for toileting, available in mesh or solid fabric for bathing and quick drying.
