Description

The Stander Curve Grab Bar is a bathroom safety device designed to help individuals stand from the toilet, shower, or bathtub, preventing falls. It features a ladder-like grab bar with multiple handles at different levels, enabling users to “climb” to a standing position. A horizontal grab bar provides additional balance and support.

Key features include:

• Ladder Grab Bar: Uses a hand-over-hand motion for easy standing assistance.

• Pivoting Design: Rotates 180° and locks into five positions, making it versatile for different angles and purposes. It can also be pivoted to lay flat against the wall to save space.

• Horizontal Grab Bar: Offers extra stability for standing and walking.

• Wall-Mounted: Attaches to wall studs with included hardware and supports up to 300 lbs.

It’s designed to be installed on the wall next to a toilet, shower, or bathtub, but not directly inside the shower or tub.

Installation Requirements

• Wall-mounted installation: The Curve Grab Bar must be securely attached to wall studs.
• Stud location: Before installation, you need to locate the studs behind the wall using a stud finder or other methods.
• Drilling: Eight holes need to be drilled into the wall studs using a 1/8-inch diameter drill bit.
• Screws: The grab bar is secured to the wall using 8 wood screws (provided with the product).
• Height placement: The grab bar can be installed at any height, but it’s recommended to place it at a height accessible from the toilet seat.
• Assembly: Some assembly is required before installation.
• Positioning: Optimal placement is on the wall next to a toilet, shower/bathtub, or both.
• Space considerations: The grab bar protrudes 13 inches from the wall when in a 90° position
