The ReadyWide is a low electric care bed whose built-in expander clicks the sleep surface out from 35 inches to 39 or 42 inches, so one frame can pass through narrow doorways yet widen for transfers and daily care. A Plus version raises the safe working load from 500 lb to 650 lb, and Smart Stop halts lowering at 12.5 inches from the floor for added safety.
